Patent office looking at new “digg-like” system for patents
The USPTO, the agency in charge of patents, says it’s looking at opening up the process of reviewing patents to beyond each examiner’s desk, and instead use the crowd concept to open the process to every day users. No word on whether they’ll add a picture category, either.
